Charity Bowl
 
The North Shore Flag Football League is organizing the first annual Charity Bowl between the Peabody and Lynn Police and Fire Departments. The game scheduled for Sunday March 29th at the new Manning field in Lynn will see the Peabody Police dept take on the Lynn police dept followed by the Lynn Fire Dept V's the Peabody Fire dept. Doors open at 9:30 with the Police dept battling it out first at 10:00am followed by the fire depts game at 11am.

The game will be 9 on 9 semi-contact flag football very similar to the real thing just without the pads!! Each team will play with lineman, TE's, WR's RB's etc and will feature special teams and kickoffs. Each squad will be made up to 20 players from each dept, many with college experience, the game will be fast, furious but most importantly fun. Coaching the Peabody Police will be Peabodys own Head coach Scott Wlasuk and coaching the Peabody Fire Dept from the sidelines will be Peabody's Ed Lomasney!!!(Lynn coaches to be named)

On the day there will be concessions stands, commentery and raffles. All proceeds from the day will go to the Charity of the winning departments choice, so everyone is a winner. Come down and support your local department, tickets are just $3 for kids (U16) and $5 for adults. Tickets are available through the Police/Fire depts or though North Shore Flag Football.
