Let It Fly
Although the Lynn
flag football season finished weeks ago several players from the
league still wanted to play flag football despite the typical
December weather in New England. So the Lynn Rams put together a
team and entered the U12 division of the Let it Fly tournament
which was held at Charlestown high school last Saturday December
5th.
The team made up of Wesley Atkinson, Zachary Burl, JJ Eldred,
Mark Drillis, Joseph Ramos, Ceasar Lopez and .... played 4 more
games of flag football before they called it a day on their 09
season. The Rams finished the day with a respectable 2-2 record
and finished 4th overall after loosing out the Salem Witches
32-20 in the 3rd place play-off game. Congratulations to all the
Lynn players that toughed it out in the miserable conditions and
made the most of it, each player represented the league well
with both their play and sportsmanship. |
