Gillette Stadium Football Festival

The NSFFL league took 22 teams to take part in the 4th annual football festival held at Gillette stadium this past June. From those 22 teams, Peabody took a record 12 teams in the 6-8, 9-11 and 12-14 boys, 12-14 girls and 15-17 divisions. After a long day of amazing flag football and great memories Peabody won 3 out of the 5 divisions available, it was almost 4 but the girls unfortunately lost out on the last play of Championship. Peabody has always done well at the local and regional tournaments but for the first time ever the league organized all-star teams through coach’s nominations, season play and a try-out process. While picking all the teams was a difficult process it seems to have paid off and the experience of the Peabody players has come though. Peabody took the 6-8 title, the 12-14 title and the 15-17 title on the day with a combined record of 15-0.
