Let It Fly

The Peabody league has had a hectic finish to the season this past few weeks, last week the Peabody league played their Divisional Championships followed by their Superbowls, followed by the Championship series for the Superbowl winners ALL on the same day!!! As if that was not enough there were still 5 players from the league that wanted to continue to play and represent Peabody in the Let it Fly tournament which was held at Charlestown high school last Saturday, December 5th.

The Peabody U12 team consisted of Marcus Barker, Mark Cronin, Landon Pare, Kayla Santos and AJ Winter. The weather took its toll on the Peabody team as they lost players during the course of the day and with no subs the team they played the 7th place play-off game with only 4 players. The Tanners played the very tough Red Storm of NH in the first game and managed to put up 13 points, in the second game the Peabody team lost their QB and struggled to score and lost 6-0, however in their final game the team manged to rally despite being soaking wet and unable to feel their fingers the Tanners finished on a high note as they defeated the Pythons from RI 16-0.
