Gillette Stadium Football Festival

The NSFFL league took 22 teams to take part in the 4th annual football festival held at Gillette stadium this past June. From those 22 teams Salem had three teams in the 6-8, 9-11 and 12-14 divisions. After a long day of amazing flag football and great memories Salem represented their city well as they won two games at a tournament where the standard of play was very high, so high in fact the tournament attracted the 2008 NFL Flag National champions Mo Steel of Miami, FL.
Salem has just finished playing its first ever season of NFL Flag in the NSFFL which makes their participation even more impressive as the league is just starting out. The Salem teams displayed a lot of talent and great sportsmanship and the flag football future looks good for the city of Salem.
