Let It Fly
Last Saturday
reminded us why we dont play flag football in December in
Massachusetts, however the poor weather conditions did not stop
the Salem Witches from turning up the heat on the field. The
Witches that entered the U12 division at the Let It Fly
tournament held at the Charlestown high school turf fields
comprised of Jake DeStefano, Conor Hosman, Paul Lazarro, Jared
Lubas, Kegan Stiefel and Henny Vlaun.
The Witches finished 3-1 on the day and narrowly lost out to the
NSFFL All-stars in the last minute of the game. After playing 4
games in the rain and wind the Witches finished 3rd overall
after defeating the Lynn Rams 32-20. Congratulations to all the
players and coaches that made the trip and never gave up despite
the conditions. |
